Storage and Display

User’s information (Name, Date of Birth, Email Address, Phone Number, Health Card Number) is stored in MyHealthNB to create and maintain their account.  User’s clinical information is only displayed in MyHealthNB while the User has the COVID-19 application open.

Clinical information displayed:

  • COVID-19 PCR lab test results are provided through the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

The EHR is a software package that allows authorized users to view a patient’s Electronic Health Record (EHR). It includes built-in security to ensure that the information in a record cannot be seen by anyone other than an authorized user and should anyone else attempt to do so, their activity will be logged and made available to the EHR Administrator.

Through the EHR, a clinician is able to view a patient’s demographic information, encounter history, along with the clinical documents, images and reports that comprise his or her electronic health record.
